WITH this long-overdue Indian summer we are enjoying in the UK one of the main challenges for holiday-makers is to keep cool while they are away.<\/p>\n

Of course, the sea breezes will suffice in some locations and there is always an option of returning to a hired property and pulling the curtains to create a shady retreat from the heat.<\/p>\n

But when you are on holiday you want to enjoy as much of the sun as you can so one of the best options is to rent a cottage or country house with your own private swimming pool or access to a shared one nearby.<\/p>\n

There are few better feelings than taking a luxurious dip after a day exploring the area on foot or on a bike, browsing local shops or visiting a tourist attraction.<\/p>\n

Outdoor pools are a great option but if you are taking a break during cooler parts of the year then an indoor facility is ideal.<\/p>\n
