  • For your own security you should NEVER complete a Bank Transfer to a country outside of the UK or Ireland without checking this first with cottagegems.com. Email us for advice.
  • It is strongly advised that you take appropriate holiday insurance out to cover your cottage holiday. Some agencies listed with us offer this. Alternatively you can source holiday insurance independently.

Your Perfect Home from Home

Beautifully presented, well decorated and homely terraced cottage on the outskirts of Sedbergh in Cumbria Lake district. This 5 star rated cottage has one super king-size double with dressing room and en-suite as well as a twin room and family bathroom. There is also a modern, stylish kitchen with dining area and a cosy sitting room. Outside there is roadside parking, with a river pool and small park close by.

Description

This stone-built cottage is located in the market town of Sedbergh within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The property is beautifully decorated throughout and up to 4 can be accommodated in 2 bedrooms. With a charming blend of traditional features and stylish accommodation, this should be a great place to stay.

The accommodation is arranged over three floors and includes a sitting room with gas fire, kitchen within dining area, one super-king double with dressing room and ensuite shower room, twin bedroom and family bathroom.

With a wealth of character features such as exposed wooden beams and oak flooring, this is a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

Sedbergh itself is a wonderful town for a luxury self-catering holiday with oldey worldey buildings, historical houses and cobbled streets. Also within the town are a number of pubs serving excellent food, as well as an award winning butcher’s shop. Set at the foot of the impressive Howgills fells, the town enjoys a scenic location.

This is excellent walking country and there are numerous footpaths crisscrossing across the Yorkshire Dales National Park. A stay at this cottage could be an excellent choice for walkers as the west side of the Lake District National Park is also within relatively easy reach.  Kendal is just 12 miles from Sedbergh and Bowness in Windermere, considered by some to be the best place in the Lake District, is just 20 miles away.
