Set across two floors and hosting four bedrooms, including three doubles with a TV and a ground-floor double with a TV, along with a shower room, a kitchen/diner and a cinema. The kitchen contains an oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. For entertainment guests are provided with an Alexa in each room, a projector screen, a games console, and a selection of board games. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a pizza oven, fire pit, hot tub and furniture and guests can use the on-site salon and bikes. There is off-road parking for four cars. The central heating is powered by oil and is included in the rental price, along with bed linen, towels and power. The accommodation is pet-friendly, however please supervise pets and children at all times. Please be mindful that smoking is not permitted at the property. There is a shop within 0.9 miles and a pub within 0.3 miles. Note: There is a good housekeeping bond of 100 Please note: no stag/hen or similar parties are permitted at this property
The lovely village of Barlby, nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire, is a fantastic site just north of Selby, with the flowing River Ouse passing by. A village shop, a convenience store, a traditional tavern, two takeaways, a library, and an 18th century church are among the community's many amenities. Selby, a busy market town with a multitude of quaint shops, great restaurants, intriguing bars, and access to Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve, a 270-hectare Special Area of Conservation, is just around the corner.

You may even find a delightful tea room or country pub to enjoy a light snack or pub lunch. The county is ideal for walking enthusiasts and cyclists but it is also full of many other exciting opportunities from hot air ballooning to pot-holing. Spend the day investigating some of the wonderful historical stately homes or take a steam train ride through the stunning landscape. Whatever you choose to do during your stay you will be happy in the knowledge that you have a comfortable, well presented luxury cottage to return to at the end of the day.
