Llanddona is a quiet Anglesey village, some 3 miles from Beaumaris and if you are looking for a peaceful luxury break by the seaside in Wales, a cottage break in or close to this village could be a great choice. The village is popular for its safe sandy blue flag award winning beach that's ideal for both sunbathing and a good choice of watersports can be enjoyed there including windsurfing and kite-surfing. It is also the place to find good sea fishing.

There are in fact two beaches by Llanddona, Llanddona Beach with its lovely sands and White Beach, a hidden away pebble beach.  Llanddona in particular is a great place to relax, build sandcastles or paddle in the waves.

When in this part of Wales to see some of the best of the area whilst on your luxury holiday, follow the scenic route of Anglesey Coastal Path along to Beaumaris, where you'll find much to fill your day such as a concentric castle, courthouse museum, gaol, masses of shops and restaurants plus yet another beautiful beach.

With the whole Menai coastline at your disposal why not try some sailing or just enjoy relaxing walks by the seaside. Back on the mainland, around 10 miles away from Llanddona is Bangor where you can find the UK's oldest cathedral which was founded in circa 525AD as well as the Gwynedd Museum and Art Gallery which is full of interesting social and cultural Welsh history. A few miles further on from Bangor is the beauty of Snowdonia National Park, a must for climbers, walkers and all those who love natural beauty.

With so much on offer with a luxury holiday in Anglesey and beyond this is a great place to visit.
