Thinking of a luxury cottage break in one of Ireland's National Parks? Killarney National Park is situated in the South West in County Kerry, Ireland. It was the first national park established in Ireland and has been greatly expanded over time to cover the lakes of Killarney as well as woodland and mountain peaks. One of its most appealing features is that it has Ireland’s only native herd of Red Deer and also the largest covering of native forest left in Ireland. Much more can be discovered about the park at the Visitor and Information centre at Muckross House which is a victorian mansion found close to Muckross Lake. There are also other places of interest to visit such as the purple mountains, Ross castle, and Muckross Abbey.
This delightful native park boasts beautiful scenery and could there be a better way to enjoy Killarney National Park than on a luxurious cottage break? A stay in a luxury cottage can do just that with high standards of accommodation and fantastic facilities to compliment this wonderful area of Ireland.
