Vulcan Lodge cottages consists of four fabulous, well-presented cottages each with a 4 star rating. Created from an 18th century country Inn, each cottage can accommodate varying amounts of guests sleeping up to a total of 22 guests. The Middleton cottage even boasts a large dining room that can seat 20 people, ideal for large group gatherings. The cottages are decorated and presented to excellent standards and there is shared use of a Laundry and drying room, WIFI access and a great welcome pack on your arrival.
The Middleton Cottage is found on the ground floor and is the largest cottage with both front and rear access. It boasts 3 bedrooms, a one double, one king and one twin. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and the third has its own bathroom separately. The living area is open plan with a large dining room that can accommodate 20 people. Ideal for large gatherings.
The Faulkner cottage is also on the ground floor. It has 2 bedrooms, one a kingsize and the other a superking. They both divide into singles if required. There are 2 toilet/shower rooms. It has a kitchen diner and the lounge leads onto a balcony. Access is at the rear of the property. There are 3 steps from the hallway up to the lounge and bedroom area.
The Woodman cottage is found upstairs. The front door leads into a porch and stairs lead up to the living accommodation. This cottage has 2 double bedrooms, a through lounge/kitchen diner and a large bathroom with a corner bath. It has lots of attractive exposed beams. Unfortunately, we do not accept pets in the Woodman.
The Searle - is found on the ground floor again and is a spacious cottage. It has one bedroom with a double bed and could accommodate another single bed. There is a door to the garden. There is an ensuite toilet/shower room, kitchen, and a lounge with a dining area. Charming cottage with many features of the old inn including the large open stone fireplace, oak beams and a split level lounge and kitchen.
