Booking Info and Advice

  • Always call and speak to owners or agencies before placing a booking. This allows you to get answers to any questions you may have and to get a feel for the owner or agency. Always double check bank details and payment methods with owners or agencies over the phone before booking.
  • For your own security you should NEVER complete a Bank Transfer to a country outside of the UK or Ireland without checking this first with cottagegems.com. Email us for advice.
  • It is strongly advised that you take appropriate holiday insurance out to cover your cottage holiday. Some agencies listed with us offer this. Alternatively you can source holiday insurance independently.

Description

‘It is breathtaking ... the house, the surrounding countryside, the seclusion, the bay ... everything is absolutely amazing.’

With 10 individually finished rooms including 7 en suites and 2 further bathrooms, Llanlliana House accommodates up to 20 guests in a beautifully finished period setting.

‘The debates over who gets the best room are irrelevant because every room is simply stunning.’

Designed for entertaining, with an oak banqueting table and a bar facility, the dining room is a fantastic space to host a milestone anniversary or celebrate a special birthday.

‘We also booked the in-house catering for a dinner party, so lovely to have someone to come in and wait on you hand and foot.’ Cut herbs in the garden, forage in the fruit cage and savour the country kitchen.

‘The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for large groups and more besides.’

Socialise and entertain in the snug and comfy lounge, or head upstairs to the games room for a game of pool or table football. With panoramic views, the super-size hot tub offers hours of fun for the kids year-round, or perhaps just pop a bottle of fizz and grab your swimmers!

‘We sat in darkness in the hot tub and could clearly see the Milky Way and lots of shooting stars, an experience we will never forget.’

Exploring little ones find a sandpit, play area, secret slide and ride on tractors, bigger kids can enjoy Giant Jenga, rounders, croquet and badminton. The slate terrace offers al fresco dining with an amazing back drop.

‘We enjoyed the awesome slate patio area, perfect for taking in the spectacular views.’

Locally, the picturesque village of Cemaes Bay provides convenient amenities and sandy beaches perfect for sandcastles, rock pooling and crabbing off the harbour wall.

‘The owners could not do enough for us and managed to be fantastically helpful with our requests without being intrusive in the slightest.’
