For days out, the beautiful Cornish coast is just a short drive away, with its beautiful beaches, fishing villages and seaside resorts like Fowey, Looe and Polperro. Set apart from Rivermead's other cottages, Owl lodge backs onto woodland and open meadows, with views of the valley from the front. It's the perfect escape for families, friends or just couples looking to unwind with countryside walks, onsite trout and salmon fishing on the River Fowey, and peaceful wildlife spotting. This is a pet-free property (no dogs allowed). Inside the Lodge • Spacious open-plan living with comfy sofas, Freeview TV, a well-equipped kitchen, and dining table large enough for up to 6 guests. • Thoughtful extras include a Cornish cream tea, a welcome bag and a starter pack of kitchen essentials like dishwasher tablets, tea towels and washing up liquid. • There is an entrance hall with a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Bedrooms: • Master with king-size bed and en-suite shower room. • Second bedroom with king-size bed and a large walk-in wardrobe. This room can accommodate a travel cot. • Twin bedroom with 2 single beds large enough for adults or children. A second shower room with a large shower cubicle, hand basic, WC and heated towel rail completes the accommodation.
